Meet the Experts

Amy Rapp is the founder of VirtualCorps.com®. She’ll be leading the way to connect the talent that VirtualCorps.com® has aggregated to the Credit Union (CU) community. Her wealth of experience in many areas of educational program development, public speaking, webinar and webcast producing and hosting, and specialized experience in international development gives her a unique and hands on perspective to offer exceptional quality programming and talent to the CU community.

Amy has experience facilitating national webinars series with key organizations such as CUNA and the Federation of Community Development Credit Unions with key guests such as the NCUA and the CDFI fund. In early 2013 she engaged in the Farmer to Farmer National Cooperative Business Association/CLUSA International development program in Senegal, Africa where she taught capacity building, strategic planning, and organizational development, identification of additional sources of fee income production through partnership and relationship development and more.

Amy’s prior experience was as the Senior Manager, Small-Mid Markets Group, SimpliCD Sales Director and the Host and Producer of the nationally recognized CU Essentials Monthly Web Cast Show at Western Corporate Federal Credit Union. During that 8 year period of time, Amy successfully created a national brand serving the small and mid-sized credit union market sector by creating very detailed and highly effective programs to assist credit unions in thriving. Many mid and large asset sized CUs also engaged in learning from this national show, especially in areas critical for director education, mid–level staff development and other key executives needing clarification on critical industry information. Most notable was the small mid-markets workshop and program, which offered critical balance sheet solutions in an understandable, rigorous format, always focusing on regulatory compliant methods. Her workshops have been attended by countless CUs, DFI and other key stakeholders. The programs are regulatory compliant, targeted to meet the critical industry standards set forth by the NCUA.

Amy has taken the positive attributes of her experience from working in the Corporate Credit Union movement and aggregated experts in the field of asset liability management, risk based pricing/lending, balance sheet management, investment management, LID, CDFI, CDCU (low income and community development) secondary capital and grant funding, social media applications, marketing and more. As a result, CUs will have access to a variety of expertise as extension of staff consultants that will help all asset sized credit unions during these challenging and technology driven times.
