Meet the Experts

Bruce has over 30 years of hands on accounting, budgeting and process implementation. He worked for 14 years at Uncle Credit Union, the first seven as Data Processing and Accounting Manager and the last seven as Vice President of Accounting. Uncle Credit Union grew from $12 Million to $180 Million in assets during Bruce’s tenure and he helped implement many of the products and services offered such as ACH/BillPay, FedWire, VISA Debit & Credit Cards and Risk Based Lending.

In multiple industries, Bruce generated and analyzed financial and ad-hoc reports and presented them to the Directors of the Boards, streamlined workflow processes, coordinated and implemented software enhancements to improve efficiency and created, implemented and reviewed budgets, while analyzing variances to actuals. Bruce coordinated two system conversions, a mainframe and peripheral devices move to a new location, a payroll conversion and many software upgrades.

Born in New Orleans and raised in California, Bruce earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at California State University Long Beach. His vocational studies include completion of the Business Executive Development Program at Stanford University, the CUNA CFO Council training program and Dale Carnegie Leadership Training. Bruce’s avocations include a four year term as church treasurer and six years as a weekly coordinator for the Winter Hospitality Overflow (WHO) in Vancouver, Washington, racquetball, golf, softball, chess and bridge. Bruce has three adult children and is a new grandfather!
